SINGAPORE

21 DEC – 27 DEC 2018

Singapore is more of a home for me (Gretchen) and not exactly a place for exploration. I lived here for 3 years and most of my family are still here. So to make Christmas a little less lonely, we decided to spend it where it hits close to home.
I had a little over a week to show Guillaume around which also involved Christmas shopping for my nieces and nephews. We headed right into the touristy places.

The obligatory photo with the Merlion.

It was nice to have a short break from all the adventure and a little discomfort of backpacking, a huge contrast after spending a few weeks in Laos.

This trip was also a great time to catch up with my friends whom I haven’t seen in years.

There were still so many places I wanted to take Guillaume to, so many food that he needed to try but there was just so little time that we just decided to spend it with our family and friends.

But anyway, we sure had a great time in Singapore!
